City
of Santa Fe Seals
Swim Team
The Seals represent the City of
Santa Fe in
swim meets throughout New Mexico, and some Seals swimmers compete in
other states.
The Seals team is open to all swimmers, and has beginning,
intermediate, and experienced swimmers ranging in age from 5 to 18
years old. Practice for the team is held Monday through Friday at
the Chavez Center starting at 4:30 p.m. The beautiful Genoveva
Chavez Community Center at an
elevation of approximately 7000 feet is home to the Seals.
This year the team was very fortunate to welcome back experienced and
successful Theresa Hamilton as head coach,
and previous Seals swimmer, Joe Malinowski, as
assistant coach.
